INYFW Mission Statement

The mission of Indigenous New York Fashion Week (INYFW) is to establish a sustainable, Indigenous-led platform that elevates Indigenous designers, performers, and creatives through high-profile, community-centered programming in Lenapehoking. By creating paid opportunities across the full spectrum of fashion production, INYFW aims to build long-term infrastructure that supports Native agency in the arts.

Our goal is to position INYFW as an annual, anticipated event that honors ancestral knowledge, amplifies contemporary Indigenous expression, and creates visibility for the Native arts ecosystem as a whole, and especially those living and producing in NYC. Your contributions will allow us to deepen our relationships with artists, compensate their labor fairly, and produce a world-class event that sets the standard for cultural celebration, appreciation, and innovation in the fashion world.
