Michelle Luna is a proud Diné (Navajo) and self-taught sewist/designer from Northern New Mexico, of the Tódich'íi'nii (Bitterwater) and Kinłichíi'nii (Redhouse People) Clans. She is the creative force behind Bitterwater for Redhouse, a fashion brand based on the Diné Nation in Arizona. Her bold, wearable art has graced red carpets and been worn by figures like Paulina Alexis, Katarina Ziervogel, and Secretary Deb Haaland.

Michelle’s designs—featured in Native Max Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, and Entertainment Tonite—celebrate Indigenous resilience, identity, and beauty. With each piece, she shares the message: “We are still here.”

Through her work, she honors her culture and inspires others to express themselves, always encouraging: “Go make something beautiful today!”
