Leslie Jerden is a Lenape woman and CEO of Teton Trade Cloth by Lenape. Her families are Falleaf and Black, both descendants of the Turtle Clan of the Delaware Tribe of Indians (Lenape).

Leslie’s fourth generation grandfather is in history books as a translator and guide for Union armies traversing through Indian territory. She often thinks how fitting it is that she finds herself doing her best work today collaborating with many artists of many Nations. Her goal through Teton is to bring Native design and Native artists to the forefront of fashion to showcase the diversity and beauty Native Americana culture is producing.
